Abstract
Transaminase activity in homogenates of larval Digenea indicates that alanine aspartic acid, glutamic acid and their α-keto acid analogues could form an important link between carbohydrate and nitrogen metabolism. As few amino acids participate in transamination it is doubtful whether this process plays a major role in protein synthesis.Keywords
