Spondylometaphyseal dysplasia

Abstract
Three cases of spondylometaphyseal dysplasia are presented with a discussion of clinical and radiological findings at different ages. This is an established familial bone dysplasia, presenting in childhood with progressive kypho-sis and metaphyseal changes. There is generalized platys-pondyly and early onset of degenerative joint changes. Differentiation from Morquio's disease is stressed.
