Abstract
A high-performance instrument for preparing hetero-LB films fully automatically was developed. Two microcomputers linked together through an RS-232C communication line control surface pressures of monolayers digitally using four control parameters and complicated movement of a solid substrate. Double gates which permit the passage of solid substrates but which prohibit monolayers are used to deposit hetero-LB films. Model experiments show that the gates work well and the resultant hetero-LB films have very high regularity. Keywords
