Abstract
Chicks were fed infective larvae of Trichinella spiralis. When killed later they showed such a light infection that the usual methods of examination failed to show trichinosis in the muscles. Many larvae are killed in the gizzard but the majority are destroyed by some unknown means after dissemination in the body. There is no indication that fowl ever become a source of infection. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
