Abstract
For a microstrip mounted Gunn oscillator, a simple equivalent circuit can be found phenomenologically, allowing for non-linearity, from the measurement of oscillation frequency and output power as functions of a circuit parameter. Based on this equivalent circuit, optimum circuit design is possible, e.g. so as to obtain the maximum output power at a given frequency.Keywords
