Abstract
Some mathematical questions are answered in the theory of quantized boson fields with given linear source distribution. It is proved that the total Hamiltonian in the Fock representation is self‐adjoint. Unitary operators governing the evolution of the system in the interaction picture are defined, and conditions given for their weak and strong convergence at remote times. Keywords
