Abstract
Azotobacter vinelandii was found to form novel lipid compounds when encystment was initiated by 0.2% beta-hydroxybutyrate. An examination of these compounds led to the isolation and characterization of 5-n-heneicosylresorcinol, 5-n-tricosylresorcinol, and their galactoside derivatives. This publication has 22 references indexed in Scilit:
