Abstract
The generation of free radicals suggested previously was verified by ESR spectroscopy. ESR signals of daunomycin and adriamycin, but not of carboquone, reappeared after the 1st ones almost decayed, and failed to occur in intact tumor cells, in the presence of glucose in rat liver microsomes and mouse Ehrlich ascites tumor cells.
