Abstract
This paper describes two testing strategies which have been used successfully by a range of projects designed and manufactured using Mascot 2. It describes both strategies and considers the advantages and disadvantages of each. The ways in which the strategies could be evolved in order to exploit the advantages of Mascot 3 are discussed. The paper is largely based on direct experience with a number of projects designed and implemented using the Mascot 2 methodology and a variety of Mascot support environments.
