Abstract
Distribution of insecticide resistant Myzus persicae (Sulz.) in Switzerland during 1977/78 and 1982In 1977/78 and 1982 Myzus persicae were sampled from different places in Switzerland and analysed electrophoretically to determine the levels of insecticide‐resistance. Resistance of aphids from potatoes decreased from 77 to 78 but in aphids from peach an increase of resistance was observed. From 1978 to 1982 an increased amount of resistant aphids was found at one place in samples from sugar beets and potatoes, but at two other places resistance of aphids remained unchanged. Bands of electrophoresis were measured photometrically to determine a numerical value for the activity of the esterases. This allowed to classify the aphids in three groups S, R1 and R2 with different levels of resistance according to Sawicki et al. (1977).Zusammenfassung: In den Jahren 1977/78 und 1982 wurden von verschiedenen Orten in der Schweiz Proben von Myzus persicae gesammelt und elektrophoretisch ihr Resistenzgrad gegen Insektizide bestimmt. Bei Proben von Kartoffeln konnte von 1977 zu 1978 eine Abnahme der Resistenz festgestellt werden, bei Proben von Pfirsich jedoch eher eine Zunahme. Von 1978 bis 1982 mußte an einem Ort wieder eine Zunahme des Anteils resistenter Läuse registriert werden, während an zwei anderen Orten der Populationsaufbau 1978 und 1982 etwa gleich war.Durch photometrische Ausmessung der Elektrophoresebanden konnte ein Maß für die Esteraseaktivität gefunden werden. Somit konnten die untersuchten Läuse in die in England übliche Klassierung von S, R1 und R2 eingeteilt werden.
