Abstract
Damage to the recurrent laryngeal nerve is a frequently teen complication in head and neck surgery. A system for intraoperative monitoring of the recurrent laryngeal nerve is presented. The key to this system lies in the use of a microlaryngeal electrode and inserter. Application of this system to various situations is described. Keywords
