Abstract
Like isolated cardiac myxoma, biatrial myxoma may manifest itself only by extracardiac symptoms over a prolonged period. A 24-year-old patient presented over seven years a history of repeated arthalgia with concomitant anaemia, elevated blood sedimentation rate, positive antistreptolysin test and electrophoretic signs of inflammation. A discrete systolic sound on auscultation gave rise to an echocardiographic examination which revealed a biatrial myxoma. Keywords
