Autodetaching resonance below the n=3 level of hydrogen observed recently at Los Alamos are shown to have '+' character. This is demonstrated by combining information from a hyperspherical coordinate analysis with a semiempirical analysis of the data using quantum-defect theory (QDT).Keywords
