Abstract
The spin wave dispersion relation in the case of MnF2 is studied for various assumed values of the ratio of the exchange coupling constants J2 to J1. The inelastic scattering cross-section of neutrons by spin waves in this crystal is also calculated, and, particularly, using the value of J2=1.08J1, which seems to be supported experimentally, distinctive features of the scattering cross-section are discussed.Keywords
