Leukemia and Hypercalcemia

Abstract
LEUKEMIA is rarely accompanied by hypercalcemia. There are three reports in the literature of an association of the two conditions.1 2 3 The present case is added with the intent of more firmly establishing leukemia in the differential diagnosis of hypercalcemic states and, conversely, to suggest that hypercalcemia may be the main cause of symptoms in some cases of leukemia.Case ReportA 14-year-old boy had been well until November 26, 1963, when he experienced bilateral chest pain.
