Abstract
Protein adsorption and retention data collected from recent chromatographic studies on hydrophilic gels substituted with chelate‐bonded metal ions are discussed. Attempts are made to interpret the adsorption behavior in terms of molecular events caused by the affinity for the immobilized metal ions. Keywords
