Melanosis of the Prostate Gland

Abstract
In none of the three previously described cases of melanin pigment within the prostate gland has there been both glandular and stromal melanosis. This has given rise to the concept of a stromal “nevus” and an unrelated condition of glandular melanosis. This paper describes a patient in whom both patterns are present, and thus mitigates against their being unrelated entities.
