Abstract
In a Chicago suburb childhood leukemia suddenly increases by a factor of five. In Texas three cases occur almost simultaneously within a half-mile circle. In Arizona four people connected with a village school contract the disease. Do these clusters hold new clues to the puzzling natural history of leukemia? A special program of the Public Health Service is seeking the answer to this question. Keywords
