Abstract
A fibroblast cell culture was established from a forearm skin biopsy of a 24 yr old normal white male who is a balanced translocation carrier. The translocation was identified by trypsin-Giemsa banding. Cells of both the mother and son of GM-327 have the same apparently balanced translocation, although the son has multiple congenital anomalies. The cells are potentially useful to demonstrate linkage relationships with chromosomes 2 and 8. Seed stock is stored in passage 4.
