Abstract
A further series of nitrite sensitivity reactions is reported. It is confirmed that the sensitivity of the hemoglobin to oxidation by nitrites is increased in pregnant women, patients with carcinoma and patients with a limited number of other conditions. A possible common factor in these conditions is discussed and it is suggested that only stress or cell multiplication seems plausible in this respect. Keywords
