Congenital Cystic Adenomatoid Malformation of the Lung

Abstract
A newborn infant with congenital cystic adenomatoid malformation of the lung was treated successfully by resection of the affected lobe. This case plus 39 others reported in the English literature are reviewed here. Early diagnosis and early resection of the involved lobe or lobes are important.
