Abstract
Psychological problems were studied in a group of 203 male and 234 female patients over the age of 16 who had undergone treatment for infantile paralysis. Statistics are presented under the topics: physical factors, vocational factors, and social adjustment. Of great importance to psychological adjustment is the degree of apparency of the deformity.
