Abstract
A Fermi-surface model is developed for ferromagnetic iron based on the interpolation scheme of Baker and Smith for bcc transition metals. A reasonably good Fermi surface is obtained. We present theoretical results on interference orbits. These results are found to be encouraging upon comparison with the experimental data of Coleman et al.Keywords
