Abstract
The method of energy- and angle-resolved electron-electron coincidences has been applied to measure for the first time the triple differential cross section (TDCS) for double photoionization in helium for unequal energy sharing of the two electrons (E2=9.6E1) and using completely linearly polarized light. Compared to the case of equal energy sharing, the symmetry constraints for the shape of the TDCS are much less rigorous, and this makes it a more sensitive test case for theoretical treatments. Excellent agreement is found with theory. Keywords
