Abstract
The androgenic substance produced by the adrenal of the castrate immature rat is not identical with the androgen produced by the rat testes since the latter is inactivated by the liver and the adrenal androgen is not. The data furnishes no clue as to the chemical identity of this particular adrenal androgen. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
