Modelisation de la cinetique de degradation du parachloronitrobenzene par photolyse du peroxyde d'hydrogene EN milieu aqueux ET EN reacteur dynamique1

Abstract
The aim of this work was to study the photodegradation of p‐chloronitrobenzene (CNB) in the presence of H2O2. Experiments were carried out with dilute aqueous solutions of CNB (pH = 7.5; [CNB]o= 2.5 10−6 mol 1−1) and with a continuous flow‐rate UV reactor equipped with a low pressure mercury vapour lamp. The results showed that the performances of the H2O2/UV reactor for the removal of CNB could be described by a kinetic model which includes the technological parameters, of the photochemical reactor (incident photonic flux, annular pathlength, irradiated volume...) and the operating conditions of the reactor (flow‐rate, HCO3‐concentration, applied dose of H2O2....). Moreover, the second order reaction rate constant of OHo radicals on CNB could be determined by applying the kinetic model (kcNB = 2.3 109 1 mol−1 s−1) and was compared to those of other aromatic compounds (chlorobenzene, nitrobenzene, chloronitrobenzene isomers).
