Abstract
A procedure for calculating cross sections for ionization of electrons in various shells of an atom differential in both angle and final electron energy is developed. Calculations for ionization of carbon, copper, and gold for incident energies in the range 100-400 keV are presented and compared with recent experimental results. Keywords
