Abstract
Changes of heart frequency were studied in diabetic neuropathy [human] by blocking autonomic innervation of the heart with atropine and propranolol (intrinsic rate). In diabetic neuropathy the initial heart rate was higher than in the controls and non-neuropathic diabetics. This higher frequency could not be further increased by the administration of atropine and propranolol compared to the values registered in the other 2 groups. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
