Abstract
Is the frequency of watching television programs with recurrent violent themes positively related to aggressive attitudes among young people? This study of a sample of British school children yields findings very similar to U.S. data, in terms of both direction and magnitude of the relationship. It also examines the influence of program type and demographic variables on that relationship. Keywords
