Abstract
The original observations of hypothalamic releasing factors for the pituitary thyroid stimulating and luteinizing hormones have now been expanded in the direction of fulfillment of the prophecy that many more factors, both releasing and inhibiting, exist. It is now possible to advance a unified concept of C N S-endocrine relationships with broad implications for many aspects of clinical medicine. Keywords
