Abstract
The hydrolysis in aqueous solution of L-4-carboxy-2,2-dimethylthiazolidine hydrochloride has been followed by infrared spectrophotometry. The absorption curve of the final reaction mixture had absorption characteristics which were also shown by a solution containing stoichiometric amounts of the expected reaction products. Keywords
