Abstract
A case report of a young Negro with sickle cell trait but no anemia, who became ill on 2 occasions while flying between 10,000 and 16,000 ft. above sea-level. It is postulated that the anoxemia so induced occasioned splenic infarction and multiple minute myocardial thromboses. Keywords
