Abstract
The microwave device applications of epitaxial garnet films grown by liquid phase epitaxy and vapour phase epitaxy on gadolinium gallium garnet substrates are reviewed. Materials preparation techniques and quality in terms of ferrimagnetic resonance linewidth are discussed. Emphasis is directed towards the present status of tunable bandstop and bandpass filters and magnetostatic wave delay lines. Dispersive and non-dispersive tapped delay lines operating at frequencies up to X-band are described. Keywords
