Resonance production and transverse spectra inp¯nannihilations at 5.55 GeV/c

Abstract
We present results on the production of resonances (ρ, f, g, ω, A1, and A2) in p¯n annihilations at 5.55 GeV/c. Channel and resonance cross sections are determined and compared with p¯p data obtained at nearly the same incident momentum. Production features in terms of the transverse momentum (PT) and the transverse kinetic energy (EK) are also investigated. In particular, it is shown that the noninvariant EK distributions for exclusive annihilation channels can be parametrized by eEKT functions, and the behavior of the slope parameters T is discussed.
