Abstract
The ribosomes in rat spleen can be separated Into 2 fractions, those bound to membranes and those free in the cytoplasm. Cell-free protein synthesis by bound ribosomes is 80[long dash]90% inhibited by 10-4 [image] chloramphenicol. Protein synthesis by free ribosomes Is relatively resistant to chloramphenicol. This publication has 25 references indexed in Scilit:
