Abstract
Seven patients with the uncommon condition of angioma of the face have been investigated. Selective external carotid arteriography with subtraction films is recommended to show the lesions to best advantage. Both external carotid arteries should be examined in all patients, supplemented by angiography of adjacent arteries if required. Internal carotid angiography should also be performed to exclude an intracranial extension of the lesion. Subtraction films are essential as the bony structure of the face may obscure part or all of an angioma. Keywords
