Abstract
We have calculated the magnetic susceptibility of a cerium Kondo system in the Anderson model by a perturbation expansion up to fourth order, for temperatures . An evaluation of the Kondo temperature is given. In the dilute system (), the agreement between calculated and experimental values is very good. The comparison between susceptibility measurements of Ce and calculated values shows that the Kondo temperature of this compound is high, in agreement with the analysis of its resistivity curve.
