Serum Glycoprotein Concentrations in Rats Infected with the Cestode, Hymenolepis diminuta

Abstract
The effects of experimental infection with Hymenolepis diminuta on serum concentrations of total glycoprotein, seromucoid, gamma-globulin polysaccharide, total protein, gamma-globulin protein and on hemoglobin and hematocrit values were determined in Long-Evans rats. No statistically significant differences occurred in serum values between normal and infected groups.
