Abstract
Renewed interest in multiphasic screening has been stimulated by the development of automated technics. However, unresolved problems remain and include unavailability of a method for integrating multiphasic screening into the medical-care system, lack of a continuum of financing through follow-up diagnosis and treatment and lack of scientifically based and controlled evaluations of the effectiveness of multiphasic screening. Keywords
