Abstract
Gamma irradiation of estrone and estradiol in 1 Naqueous sodium hydroxide results in the formation of 2-hydroxyestrone and 2-hydroxyestradiol, respectively. Estrolactone (16a-oxa-D-homoestrone) was not encountered.Keywords
