Abstract
Clinical and Organ TransplantationExperimental Organ TransplantationMuch experimental work has been done in the technical realm of organ transplantation. Although some of these efforts antedated Carrel and Guthrie, their ingenious exploratory work,537 early in this century, ushered in the present era. Their work included the grafting of the entire head of a puppy to the cervical vessels of a larger recipient dog, the reimplantation of canine extremities and the transplantation of kidneys. In recent years further advances have been made as special attention has been paid to the technical problems surrounding transplantation of a wide variety of organs and . . .Keywords
