Low Level Resistance in Wheat to Greenbug12

Abstract
Six wheats and a Triticale entry selected from screening tests were evaluated in the greenhouse for antibiosis, nonpreference, and tolerance to Schizaphis graminum (Rondani). Except for the Triticale, resistance was low and of doubtful value in a breeding program if biotype C was present in the field. Dense and long trichomes did not necessarily result in resistance to greenbugs.
