Abstract
This consideration of the process of parental influence in relation to incidence of cancer may be divided into three parts. The first of these will cover briefly the different mechanisms by which parents may influence the development of their progeny. The second will discuss the nature of cancer and the various levels or periods in the life of the individual at which the incidence of cancer may be affected or influenced. The third will briefly discuss the experimental evidence derived from animal studies in these specific fields of cancer research. I.
