Abstract
Nuclear quenching factors for recoil ions of 1-200 keV in He, Ne, Ar and Xe are discussed. The Bragg-like curve for Time Projection Chamber (TPC) in relation with dark matter search is obtained using the electronic linear energy transfer (LET). The quenching factors for C, N, O, Ar, and Pb ions in Ar gas are also reviewed. Keywords
