Abstract
Newly emerged adults of the apple maggot, Rhagoletis pomonella, were fed strontium 89 as strontium chloride in 50% commercial apple juice. All the flies were labeled after 6 days of feeding, and all retained a measurable amount of isotope for at least 46 days. The degree of retention was followed in individual flies. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
