Fundamental Properties of Textile Wastes. VIII. The Flotation of Colloidal Suspensions †

Abstract
Substances in colloidal suspension can be floated successfully, the floatability being dependent on the electrokinetic propeties of the substances involved. Floating agents must be charged oppositely to the particles to be floated, and must be capable of producing a water repellent coating on these particles.
