Experiences of Group Work in a Rehabilitation Unit

Abstract
A hospital chaplain sets his work with groups of patients within a rehabilitation unit against the background of a theory of groups. He then gives illustrations from an actual group, commenting on the significance of some of what is said, and gives a summary of the kind of subjects discussed over a year. He concludes with an assessment of the attitudes of the staff and of the value of group work.
