Abstract
To bring Ukraine's telecommunication sector up to the level required in the modern world, the PTT Ministry of Ukraine has developed a National Telecommunication Development Program that details development activities through the year 2005. Among the goals specified in the development program are several activities to be completed by 1996: completion of the construction of modern digital trunk telephone exchanges in all the provincial capitals; laying of the optical fiber links; and digitization of trunk telecommunication lines.Keywords
