Abstract
Using a unipolar ion mobility conduction model in planar geometry as suggested by Many and Rakavy, the transient behavior of the bulk electric field and space-charge distribution as a function of space and time is studied. Analytical solutions using the method of self-similar solution of partial differential equations are obtained for both a step voltage and step current excitation. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
