"Semi-Auger" Processes inEmission in Ar and KCl

Abstract
X-ray emission studies in Ar and KCl due to formation of an vacancy reveal a low-energy satellite below the main emission peak. Comparison with other data on related processes indicates that this satellite is due to two-electron effects (configuration interaction) in the final state of the emission process.
